My Wyoming year began with a roll of film, two parents, wine, the Gatsbys, and a healthy dose of rural decay. The Gatsbys were an ungodly number of attractive, well-heeled people who decided to converge on the beautiful Pippin Hill Vineyard. Credit my mother for introducing me to the term, “well-heeled.”

The cover photo is the same black and white photo of the side of a barn, but colorized in Photoshop. This is my first attempt at colorizing a black and white photo this way. It was fairly easy given the contrast in the photo between the clouds, sky, and trees and the easy cutout of the housing structure and windows. You can really get close to a Technicolor look this way. Will definitely do more of this.
